New details on the BMW M2 Coupe are surfacing as the model is expected to be unveiled online by the end of August.
There is no surprise anymore that BMW is currently developing the M2 Coupe as various prototypes have been caught testing over the past few months. According to a member from 2addicts, the model in question will be offered with a lot of body paints, which include the Long Beach Blue, the Alpine White, the Black Sapphire and the Mineral Grey. The vehicle will be riding exclusively on 19-inch alloy wheels and it will get black leather and blue stitching in the cabin.
Some of the standard goodies include the carbon fiber inserts inside it, the shadow line in black, the Navigation Pro, the rear parking sensors and for some extra money, BMW will be adding the Internet access, Harman Kardon sound system, rearview camera, power heated front seats, tinted rear windows, two telephone system options and so on. Under its hood, the 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine is expected to produce around 365 HP (272 kW) and 465 Nm of torque, or 500 Nm with overboost. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model should need approximately 4.5 seconds and top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), risible to 274 km/h (170 mph) with the optional M Driver’s Package. Power will be sent to the rear wheels through a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 7-speed DCT. The BMW M2 Coupe will be unveiled at the end of August, online, and it will make its public debut in mid-September, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
