General Motors’ CEO Mary Barra has recently ordered a brand new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible.
A brand new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible has been recently put together by GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant. The model in question has received a black finish for the exterior design, along with the yellow brake calipers which is actually the only contrast. This has the Stage 1 aerodynamic package and we have to admit that it is a good choice for Mary Barra, who has took the helm at General Motors at the beginning of this year.
As you probably already know by now, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has been officially unveiled in 2014 and shipping started at the end of the year. The cheapest version of the model is the coupe which can be ordered from 78,995 USD, while the convertible will be setting you back for 83,995 USD. The two versions of the Corvette Z06 are also offered on the Old Continent too, but pricing is slightly different here as the solid roof version is available from 99,500 euros, while the convertible can be bought from 104,500 euros. Both vehicles are sharing the same 6.2 liter V8 supercharged engine, which is capable of putting down 650 HP (485 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to a 7-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox. From 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h), the manual version needs 3.2s and the automatic can do it in 2.95s.
