A crashed unit of the Ferrari 458 Italia has been recently photographed at a garage in Dubai while waiting to return to its former glory.
Owning a supercar such as the Ferrari 458 Italia in Dubai doesn’t seem like a big deal because over there people are more used to SLR McLarens or Pagani Zonda Fs, so spotting this crashed Italian supercar underneath a plastic cover in a garage may not seem like something out of the ordinary. We have no clue on how the model in question ended up looking like this but the damage seems to be only at its body. If you know more on the topic than we do, please feel free to share.
The Ferrari 458 has been officially presented to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show, back in 2009, and it has entered production the same year. The model is being offered in two body styles, two-seat coupe and two-seat roadster, with a read mid-engine and rear-wheel drive in both. The Ferrari 458 has a 4.5 liter V8 engine under its hood which is rated at 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft), connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, sending power to the RWD. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs just 3.4 seconds and top speed stands at 325 km/h (202 mph). The Ferrari 458 has been recently replaced by the 488 GTB, which is a significant facelifted version of the model with a brand new turbocharged engine under its hood.
