A crashed Ferrari 458 Italia has been recently spotted on a truck, in the United Kingdom, where it was probably taken to a repair shop.
We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from the United Kingdom, where a Ferrari 458 Italia has definitely seen better days. According to Wrecked Exotics, quoting the truck driver, the Italian supercar in question has been crashed on the eastern road in Portsmouth, UK. Our source is also saying that a Lamborghini was traveling alongside, so this might actually be the sad result of a drag race.
As a small reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engined sports car which is replacing the old Ferrari F430. The 458 Italia was officially presented to the public back in 2009, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina.
