The Ferrari 458 has been recently replaced by the 488 GTB. This is a facelifted version of the model which is following the footsteps of its smaller brother, the California and the California T and it has received, besides the updated body style, a new turbocharged engine under its hood which is smaller than the 4.5 liter V8.
Ferrari has been producing the 458 between 2009 and 2015 and this was offered in two body styles, two-seat coupe, the 458 Italia, and two-seat roadster, the 458 Spider. Both of them had a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout and they were taking their power from the 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. The unit was capable of producing a total of 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, available at 3,250 rpm. Power was sent to the RWD through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and the supercar needed 3s to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
