Another day, another crashed supercar, as we are adding a silver Lamborghini Gallardo to our Car Crashes category.
The Lamborghini Gallardo may be long gone from production, as it has made room for its successor, the Huracan, but that doesn’t mean that it is good for the scrap yard and this still remains the best-selling model ever to have come out of Sant’Agata Bolognese. But if some examples are doing quite well, this particular one has seen better days. According to the guys from WreckedExotics, the model has been spotted recently in a parking lot in Dallas Texas. Our source is also saying that its owner has been standing next to it, talking on the phone, which means that it has just been crashed.
Judging by the image posted above, it seems that the exotic supercar has been involved in a head-on collision which left it with a ruined front fascia. The good news is that its engine is mid-mounted so it is probably fully functional but that doesn’t mean that the servicing bill will be cheap. If you happen to know how the incident happened, please feel free to share. Meanwhile, we will remind you that the Lamborghini Gallardo has been produced between 2003 and 2013 and it was designed by Italdesign Giugiaro. The exotic ride was offered in two body styles and in a lot of special editions, being powered by either a 5.0 liter V10 or a 5.2 liter V10 engine. AWD was standard but some of the special editions came with RWD.
