Crashed – McLaren 650S Spider in Poland image

This Vulcano Orange finished McLaren 650S Spider has seen better days as it has been involved in a crash recently, in Warsaw, Poland.

The McLaren 650S Spider is one hot ride to own, as it is going against models such as the Lamborghini Huracan or the brand new Ferrari 488 GTB. But hot also means fast and what is a fast car without rear-wheel drive? This combination, added to a wet road and a small dose of “watch this!” will assure a recipe for a spectacular crash. This particular model has been destroyed in Warsaw, Poland, after its driver lost control of the wheel, on a wet road, and slammed into the guardrail. It was also spinning for a few times before coming to rest.

We are not sure if the driver was injured in the incident but judging by these images, chances are he got out, with a hurt ego, however. The McLaren 650S is the successor of the MP4-12C. It has been unveiled last year in Geneva and it is sharing the same chassis as its predecessor, along with the well-known 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine. This is capable of sending a total of 641 HP (478 kW) and 680 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque to the rear-wheel drive, through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The model needs 3 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and it can go up to a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
