Economic Crisis? Rolls Royce opens new showroom in Paris image

Rolls-Royce, the luxurious British automaker has opened a showroom in the centre of Paris, in the fashionable 17th arrondissement, the company said.

The new 300 square meter showroom provides space for three Rolls-Royce motor cars, an espresso bar and customer configuration lounge, including colour and trim samples.

Speaking at the grand opening, Torsten Müller-Ötvös said, “Paris is a global capital of style and fine living. I am delighted to see the new French home of Rolls-Royce in the heart of Paris, which complements the unique mood of the city, as well as the core values of our company.”

The announcement comes shortly after the company said it will increase its size by more than 2500 square metres. A new extension will also increase the Surface Finish Centre by more than 640 square metres. Total investment in the project will be about £10 million.

This development follows record sales in 2010 and growing demand across all markets, both at home and internationally.

Global sales for Rolls-Royce continue to show a healthy percentage increase, with significant sales growth seen across all regions and continued strong demand for both Phantom and Ghost.
