Real Madrid’s football star Cristiano Ronaldo’s Lamborghini has recently broken down in Spain, one month after the Portuguese has bought it.
Being bought as a present to himself for turning 27 last month, Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t get to enjoy his latest supercar too much because it broke down in Madrid while he was on his way to a party, his teammate Pepe’s birthday. Ronaldo’s assistant called the mechanics who has nothing else to do than tow it, while the football player had to call a cab in order to make it to the party. Cristiano Ronaldo has a passion for cars and he already owns models like the Ferrari F430, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Bentley Continental GT Speed, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Audi R8 Spyder (free from Audi) and a Porsche 911 Turbo.
As a small reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is generating a total output of 690 horsepower, being mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission. The Italian two-door, two-seater supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph), while burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The Aventador LP700-4 has a suggested retail price in Europe of 255,000 euros (379,700 USD).
