Real Madrid’s football player, Cristiano Ronaldo, has recently bought himself a Lamborghini Aventador supercar as a present for turning 27.
One of the best football players in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo, can only drive one of the best cars in the world, the Lamborghini Aventador in this case, and even if the obvious choice would be the Ferrari 458 Italia, we must admit that the Aventador is more attractive to the eye. After he turned 27 years old on the 5th of February this year, Cristiano Ronaldo thought that an expensive present to himself would be the best way to celebrate his anniversary so a Lamborghini Aventador “stepped” into his garage. Even if buying the supercar was secret, the football player has been seen in Madrid driving it, and the Aventador will join the Audi R8 Spyder V10, which he got for free from Audi.
As a reminder, the two-door, two-seater sports car is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 690 horsepower and it’s being mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission. The Italian automaker says that the Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). According to the manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and the supercar is emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The suggested retail price in Europe for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is 255.000 EUR (379.700 USD).
