Cristiano Ronaldo’s damaged Ferrari to Be Sold on eBay image

A red Ferrari 599 GTB which was owned by Real Madrid soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo is to be sold on eBay.

Back in 2009 the star crashed his beautiful $325,250 Ferrari 599 GTB into a barrier near Manchester airport, England, only a week before the Manchester United striker won the 2008 Ballon d’Or as world player of the year.

The vehicle has been previously listed on eBay to be sold but the auction site, not having a proof that the car belonged to Ronaldo, took down the listing. A lawyer for Star Autos, which currently owns the car, announced that the vehicle can be listed again as now there is proof of the vehicle’s lineage.

According to the lawyer, Renaud Bettcher, the site agreed to pay undisclosed damages to the dealership, a price which could reach 20,000 euro ($26,000) said the Dernieres Nouvelles d’Alsace newspaper.

Star Autos took action against eBay and said that it provided three times proof about the car’s previous owner. The garage purchased the red Ferrari 599 GTB for 33,000 euro from a Portuguese vendor and asks 50,000 euro for it in auction. By the time the vehicle was withdrawn the bids had reached 125,000 euro.
