A custom Hyundai Elantra GT with more than 600 horsepower will be officially presented to the public during the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas.
The Hyundai Elantra GT in question has been modified for the Vegas automotive event by Bisimoto Engineering and it’s coming with an impressive tuning package considering the fact that the 1.8 liter engine is now able to produce a staggering 600+ horsepower (447 kW). Bisimoto Engineering says that the impressive power has been achieved by using features like the turbo kit, intake gasket, connecting rods, camshafts, injectors, NGK Iridium spark plugs, Spearco intercooler, Arias forged pistons and more.
The chassis and suspension system have also been updated and the Elantra GT in question is also getting a JNF roll cage, a coil-over suspension, sway bar, new clutch and a fresh set of 18×8.5 Buddy Club P1 Racing SF Challenge Wheels. The cabin of the Elantra GT is getting racing seats and harnesses along with some other minor upgrades. No performance details have been announced yet and we will have to wait for the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in order to find out more about it.
