Dacia has released new official images with the Dokker and Dokker Van, which will make their debut on the Old Continent market at the end of this month.
After being officially presented to the public in Casablanca last month, the two new models which will wear the Dacia badge on them, the Dokker and the Dokker van, are once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the Romania based automaker releasing more official images with them. According to the car manufacturer, the Dacia Dokker and the Dacia Dokker Van will hit the European market at the end of June and the two models are currently assembled at the Tanger, Morocco plant, which is owned by Renault.
The Dacia Dokker and the Dacia Dokker Van are based on the same platform as the Dacia Lodgy, the MPV revealed in March this year during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The Dokker name is coming from “dockworker” and it’s highlighting the load capacity on the two models, which will go on sale under the “smart buy” concept, with Renault trying to offer their future customers elements they need and charging them only for these elements, while still offering a lot of cargo space. Rumors are saying that the starting price of the Dacia Dokker will be set at 10,00 euros, but rather than speculating on the subject, we’d better wait for the end of this month, when the two new versions will be launched in Europe.
