The brand new Dacia Duster Oroch Concept has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil.
Dacia has managed to take everyone by surprise with its so-called Duster Oroch Concept, which has been officially presented to the public at the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show. The model in question is showing the popular budget SUV in a crew-cab pickup truck body style and it might actually hint a new model.
“Based on the Duster, which is one of our best-selling models in the region, the show car explores the world of pick-ups – a segment we’re absent from at the moment but which totals over 900,000 vehicles sold each year”, said the chairman and vice president of the Americas Region, Denis Barbier.
The vehicle pictured below may be wearing the Renault badges on its body but this is only because in some parts of the world, the Duster is sold under the French carmaker’s logo. The Dacia Duster Oroch Concept is coming with a sati white exterior finish along with some orange accents and plastic body cladding. The model has been also fitted with skid plates, with a panoramic sunroof and it is riding on 18-inch alloy wheels.
The one-off version is based on the standard model but it is coming with a modified interior design too, which now includes the dark charcoal and the fluorescent orange upholstery, which is looking pretty similar to the material used on the neoprene wetsuits, the two rear mounted cameras operable from a rotary knob on the center console and several other tweaks. No performance details on the Duster Oroch have been announced yet.
