Dacia will be launching a new commercial vehicle in the second half of this year which will be developed in order to suit the needs of its future customers.
The Romania based automaker Dacia has recently announced that a new commercial vehicle will be launched in the second half of this year and after the Lodgy, which was recently revealed, the Renault sub-brand will present a new model. The company’s officials recently said that the new model is expected to make its debut in the second half of 2012, which means that the Paris Motor Show might “welcome” the vehicle, but an appearance during another international automotive event in Europe isn’t excluded.
There aren’t any details yet on the upcoming Dacia commercial vehicle but one thing is for sure, the model won’t be made in Romania because the Mioveni plant is currently manufacturing the Logan Van and work on the popular model will continue. Rumors say that the new Dacia model will most likely adopt the front fascia from the Lodgy and some elements from the Logan, so the vehicle will be similar in size to the current Logan van and it will probably replace it in the nearby future, but until the manufacturer will announce some official details on it we won’t know for sure.
