The new generation of the Dacia Logan is expected to go into production in Russia soon too, with the Lada badges covering its body.
The Lada Priora has recently went into production in Russia, based on the previous Dacia Logan generation, but that doesn’t mean that the new generation of the Romanian model won’t hit the Lada’s assembly line in the nearby future, considering its advantages that come with it. Imagining this, Thephilus Chin has released the first rendering of the model on its website which might be revealing “the missing link” in Lada’s lineup.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Dacia Logan has been officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September, and the model is getting a completely new design, with dynamic lines and new dark carbon or two-tone dashboard in the cabin. The Dacia Logan 2 is coming with an engine lineup made out of four units, ranging from 75 HP to 90 HP, including the new 0.9-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine with 90 HP and 135 Nm of torque, which is burning just 5.2 liters of fuel every 100 km and it’s emitting 120 g/km of CO2.
