The Romanian auto maker Dacia, under the Renault mother-brand, has announced a new model which will come off the production line next year.
Our first thoughts are heading to the new generation of the Logan low-cost sedan, but the possibility of another model hasn’t been denied by Dacia’s vice president Constantin Stroe.
“Next year you will see a new product which will take the success of the brand to a new level”, said Stroe in an interview with evz.ro.
The next generation of the Logan will be 11cm longer than the one currently in production and for the first time the car will be offered in two variants, sedan and sedan-hatchback, just like the Skoda Octavia.
The new Logan will be powered by the same engines, but the price will go up by 200 euros so the entry-level 1.2 liter with 75 horsepower will cost around 6.700 euros.
The next generation of the Logan will make its official appearance next year at the Paris Motor Show.
