The Romanian based automaker Dacia is planning to develop a whole new range of models and these might make their way onto the market by 2015.
After showing us its brand new models over these past few months, which are including the new Lodgy MPV, the Dokker and Dokker van, the brand new Sandero hatchback, the new generation of the Logan in sedan and estate forms and an updated Duster SUV, Dacia is now planning to develop yet new models in its factory in Mioveni, Romania. This is good news for both the automotive industry and for the people working in the plant, because they don’t have to get worried about losing their jobs, a “thing” way too “common” these days.
According to the guys at Autocar, Dacia will produce a new wave of cars over the following 18 months and these will include a new large sedan and a city car. Unfortunately our source isn’t saying anything more on these two new Dacia models for the moment but our guess is that the new large sedan which will be made by Dacia will probably go on sale against models like the Chevrolet Cruze and the city car will probably be in a size similar to the VW Up!, but with a cheaper price.
