Dahler Design and Technik GmbH are now providing an upgrade package which has been designed specifically for the BMW X5 M and X6 M.
Good news if you own the new BMW X5 M or X6 M and you would like to make it more powerful because Dahler Design and Technik GmbH have gotten you covered. This has been made by upgrading the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine, with Stage 1, which is allowing a total output of 664 HP (488 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).
If this seems impressive, wait until you hear about the Stage 2 program, which will be bringing the total engine power to 680 HP (500 kW) and 860 Nm (635 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made even faster than before, in 3.8 seconds, and the top speed is still electronically limited to 305 km/h (190 mph). Keep in mind that the standard unit is rated at 572 HP (423 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque and it is allowing the vehicle to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). A variety of wheels, 22- and 23-inch in size are also available for the vehicles, along with a stainless steel exhaust system, customizations for the cabin and much more.
