The 2011 Indonesian International Motor Show had a world premiere from the Daihatsu car manufacturer, with revealing the A-Concept.
With the theme of “Driving Heart to Green Living”, Daihatsu’s Indonesian division, P.T. Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) has developed a concept specially designed for the local auto market.
Even though details about the A-Concept are few, the car manufacturer could put it on the production line, considering that compact, economical and practical vehicles are best sold on the Indonesian auto market.
The A-Concept presented on the Indonesian International Motor Show could serve as the basis for an Asian auto market version of the Daihatsu Mira which is being sold on the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM).
Considering that Europe has a wide market in the hatchback segment, Daihatsu could bring its new model on the Old Continent within a few years.
The Indonesian International Motor Show takes place in Jakarta between 22 and 31st of July 2011, and it is on its 19th edition.
