Famous actor Daniel Craig has taken the time to go to the Lotus headquarters in Norfolk in order to take delivery of his newest ride, a left-hand drive Evora 400.
Daniel Craig may be busy these days with the filming of SPECTRE but that doesn’t mean that he cannot take some time off in order to pick up his brand new ride. This is a Lotus Evora and the actor has went to the company’s headquarters in Norfolk, UK, in order to take delivery of it. In the latest James Bond movie he may be driving an Aston Martin DB10 but it seems that in real life he likes the Lotus cars quite more. The deliveries of the Lotus Evora will begin in August but apparently the carmaker has made an exception in this case, on April 1st.
The Lotus Evora 400 has been officially presented to the public back in March, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is packing a 3.5 liter V6 supercharged engine under its hood, which is capable of producing a total output of 400 HP (298 kW) and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the sports car needs just 4.2 seconds and it can go all the way up to a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The unit can be connected to an updated 6-speed manual or to an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades include the new brakes, limited slip differential and retuned suspension system amongst others.
