The axed Lotus CEO Dany Bahar’s custom Esprit is currently for sale so if you’re looking for a car owned by someone famous, this can be a choice.
According to the guys at thelotusforums.com, the custom Lotus Esprit owned by the former Lotus CEO Dany Bahar, is for sale. Our source is saying that the former Lotus boss had commissioned the factory to completely rebuild a 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 and the extensive restoration has been done less than 1,000 miles ago and it included a rebuilt engine and transmission, bespoke leather, a new original pearlescent white respray and more.
The Lotus Esprit in question is also getting the Final Edition options from the last 2003 models like the Sport350 High Boost ECM, the rare OZ Nova wheels, the AP Racing four-pot front and Brembo red brake calipers, the oversized spoiler and unique round rear lights and the center exhaust system. The custom Lotus Esprit was taken over from Dany Bahar when he was fired and with just 36,000 miles on the odometer this model has suddenly become interesting. Unfortunately our source doesn’t say anything about the price and we assume that this isn’t a cheap ride.
