Datsun has released a first teaser image with a brand new concept car which will debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The 2015th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show is promising to be more interesting than ever with most carmakers announcing their presence with brand new models, various concepts or innovative technologies. Datsun is making no exception from this rule either as it will be pulling the wraps off a concept, during the Japanese automotive event.
In order to place this model into the spotlights for the very first time, the automaker is releasing the teaser image posted above. This is partially revealing the new front grille, the different shape for the headlights, which seem to have the LED technology, the incorporated LED DRLs, the rounded fog lamps, the muscular hood and what seems to be some plastic body cladding around the wheel arches, which will most likely continue on the entire lower length of the vehicle.
We are not sure at this point on what this is exactly but considering its “connections” with Nissan, chances are we might be seeing the next generation of the Micra. However, we don’t exclude a version of the Renault Kwid either, which has turned out to be a success in India, where it is available at the moment. Chances are the model will be based on the CMF-A platform but more details on it remain unknown for the moment.
