Datsun teasing new concept for 2014 Auto Expo

Datsun has recently released the first teaser image with its upcoming concept car, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, in India.

After it was announced for the 2014 Auto Expo, just a week ago, the brand new Datsun concept car is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer releasing the first teaser image with the model. The photo posted above is showing a small MPV-like design for the new Datsun concept car, which has a similar front fascia to the Datsun Go and a boxy-like, but round, body, with small wheels and what seems to be a three-door body style.

The upcoming Datsun Concept seems to stand in the A-segment and it’s believed to serve a preview for a future production model, which might be aimed towards markets like India, which have a high-growth. The model in question, known internally as the I2, is riding on the CMA (Common Module Architecture), developed by Renault and Nissan. Additional details on it are limited for the moment and will be announced during India’s 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, which will take place between February 5 and February 11, at Greater Noida Delhi NCR.
