Deadmau5’ McLaren P1 has been delivered recently but the famous DJ was not home for the event.
Deadmau5 has chosen to add an impressive McLaren P1 to his garage, which is the most exclusive model out of the three, being produced in just 375 units, followed by the 499 units of the Ferrari LaFerrari and the 918 units of the Porsche 918 Spyder. The millionaire DJ has been waiting for a few months to take delivery of his new ride and when it finally happened, he wasn’t home. Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, has chosen his P1 in a dark blue finish and chances are the famous mouse logo was engraved somewhere in the cabin. Keep in mind that prices for the regular hypercar start at 1,350,000 USD and it seems that Deadmau5 has dropped about 2 million USD for it.
The McLaren P1 is a hybrid supercar which has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere. The model is being put together in Woking, Surrey, England, and it is offered in a 2-door coupe body style, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is coming from a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which has been upgraded, and it is now backed up by an electric motor. The total output stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque, sent to the RWD through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 2.8 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
