Famous Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer Deadmau5, Joel Thomas Zimmerman by his real name, has recently taken delivery of his brand new Tesla Model S P85d.
Deadmau5 is famous for having quite a fine taste of cars and after getting the BAC Mono and the McLaren P1, time has come for the famous Canadian music producer to take delivery of his newest ride yet, this black-finished Tesla Model S P85d. Deadmau5 has had chargers installed into his garage, apparently, just a day before taking delivery of the new Tesla. The model in question will not feel alone with Deadmau5 because, besides the vehicles mentioned above, he also owns a McLaren 650S Spider, a Porsche, a Bentley and others.
The Tesla Model S P85D has been officially presented to the public during the 2015th edition of the Geneva Motor Show, back in march, in a world premiere. This is truly an impressive ride which is bringing the electric motor in the rear, producing 470 HP, along with another electric motor in the front, which has been rated at 211 HP. What is the total output of the electric sedan you may wonder? Well, no less than 691 HP (515 kW) and 930 Nm (687 lb-ft) of torque, which is basically enough to put shame on most sports cars. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the Tesla Model S P85D needs just 3.3 seconds and it can reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
