Dealer-made Peugeot 208 Rallye sees daylight

Peugeot has recently announced the 208 Rallye has arrived in the company’s dealers, a few months since the model has been announced.

The Rallye Package for the Peugeot 208 means that the rear headrests will be removed, along with the center armrests and the soundproofing, and the model will get a white finish, tri-color racing stripes, the decals, the alloy wheels and some other minor tweaks which will make it stand out in a crowd.

“Our small idea has been a big hit on internet blogs and in the streets. Many people told us our creation was a great idea and –much more important- a great car”, as the head of the Peugeot dealership Clara Automobile in Le Mans, France, told Car Scoop.

The Peugeot 208 Rallye is based on the 208 156 THP Feline model and it’s powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 154 HP (156 PS). As you have probably already figured it out, the Peugeot 208 Rallye is inspired from the famous Rallye models. Additional details on the popular French hatchback with its Rallye package are limited for the moment and will be announced soon, along with the price list.
