The most important details on the upcoming Insignia VXR range-topping model have been released by the Australian based automaker as the model will arrive in dealerships’ next month.
The brand new Holden Insignia VXR is nothing more than a rebadged version of the Vauxhall Insignia VXR but the car manufacturer is now releasing the first details on it as this will be arriving in dealerships across Australia starting next month. The model in question is coming with the same familiar front fascia and it has received the 20-inch alloy wheels, the LED infused headlights, the bi-xenon headlights, the rain-sensing wipers, the limited color palette including the Silver Lake, Arden Blue, Carbon Fiber Black, Summit White and several other goodies.
No interior images have been released by the carmaker but the vehicle is confirmed to carry the 8-inch display for the MyLink infotainment system, the leather seats, the heated front seats, the dual-zone climate control, the 7-speaker audio system, a rear view camera, GPS navigation, Lane Change Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and Auto Emergency Braking, amongst others. The most important part of the new Holden Insignia VXR is found, of course, under its hood, where the 2.8 liter turbocharged V6 engine is resting. This is capable of producing a total output of 325 HP (239 kW) and a peak torque of 435 Nm (321 lb-ft), sent to the all-wheel drive system through a 6-speed transmission.
