Detroit LIVE: 2014 Infiniti Q50

The brand new 2014 Infiniti Q50 has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

After it was teased and after even fully leaking just a day before its public debut, the brand new 2014 Infiniti Q50 is finally here and its was presented in Detroit. The model will replace the G37 and it’s coming with an evolutionary design inspired by the Essence Concept. The Q50 has received a double arch grille, LED infused headlights, a trunk spoiler, a dual exhaust system and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The cabin of the model has also been improved and it’s getting dual-zone climate control, Around View Monitor, Bluetooth, leather / fabric seats, two touch screen displays, InTouch infotainment and more.

The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is also getting the Direct Adaptive Steering, the Active Lane Control, the i-Key, which is allowing the car to recognize each drive automatically and engage his/her preferences and much more. Under the hood, the 3.7 liter V6 will be offered as an entry-level, with its 328 BHP (244 kW) and 269 lb-ft of torque (364 Nm). Customers will also be able to choose the hybrid version, which is using a 3.5 liter V6 and an electric motor for a total output of 354 BHP (264 kW). These are the United States variants and the European versions will be announced later on. The new Q50 will go on sale in the U.S. this summer.
