The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG facelift has been brought to this edition of the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
After pulling the wraps off its body by releasing the very first official images and details a few weeks ago, the facelifted version of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the German based automaker bringing the high performance model to the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. The newest model signed by Mercedes-Benz, which is wearing the AMG badges on its body, is coming with an aggressive front fascia highlighted by the single bar grille, by the new headlights and by other tweaks which is helping the model stand out in a crowd.
The interior design of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG hasn’t been left aside either and the model is getting a new design for the air vents, updated trim, a revised instrument cluster and more. The facelifted E63 AMG is powered by a 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 550 HP (405 kW) and it has a peak torque of 531 lb-ft (719 Nm). Power is being sent to the optional 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The “new” E63 AMG will be launched later on this year.
