Detroit LIVE: 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and new Cayma

Porsche has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 Cayenne Turbo S and the new Cayman generation during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

The 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is getting ready to be launched across the United States and its starting price has already been announced at 146,000 USD, without the 975 USD destination charge. The luxurious SUV is taking its power form the same 4.8 liter engine found under the hood of the Cayenne Turbo, but thanks to the remapped electronics, to the increased turbocharger pressure and to other tweaks, the unit is now producing 50 HP (37 kW) and 50 Nm of torque (37 lb-ft) more, at 550 HP (410 kW) and 553 lb-ft of torque (749 Nm).

Besides the 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, the German based automaker has also brought the new generation of the Cayman to the same automotive event. The entry-level Porsche Cayman is powered by a 2.7 liter flat six-cylinder engine, producing a total output of 275 HP (202 kW), while the Cayman S is getting the larger 3.4 liter flat six-cylinder units under its hood, which is good for 325 HP (239 kW). Prices for the model have been set at 52,600 USD, while the Cayman S is available from 63,800 USD.
