Honda has brought the Urban SUV Concept to the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, where the model has made its public debut.
The Honda Urban SUV Concept has started its public life as a simple rumor just a few months ago and after it has been announced for the 2013 Detroit Motor Show, time has come for the model to make its public debut, during the automotive event. According to the Japanese based automaker, the Honda Urban SUV Concept Will eventually be transformed into a production vehicle which should be launched on the company’s local auto market by the end of this year.
The production version of the Honda Urban SUV Concept will go on sale against models like the Ford Kuga, the Chevrolet Trax or the Peugeot 2008 and it should ride on the Global Compact Series platform, currently underpinning the City and the Fit. The Honda Urban SUV Concept is coming with LED headlights, with a trunk mounted spoiler and with large alloy wheels, but this will most likely be dropped on the production version.
