The Lincoln MKC Concept has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
After being teased for the 2103 Detroit Motor Show and unveiled just a day before writing this article, the brand new Lincoln MKC Concept has been officially presented to the public during the automotive event. The Lincoln MKC Concept is previewing a future production version which will be based on the same platform as the Ford Kuga / Escape. The model is coming with a stylish looks for the side with the beltline, with flared wheel arches, with a prominent front grille and more.
The looks Lincoln MKC Concept are being completed by the 20-inch polished aluminum rims, wrapped in Pirelli tires. The cabin of the model is also upgraded, compared to its brothers made by Ford, and it’s getting wood and chrome finishes, a panoramic roof, ambient lighting and much more. The Lincoln MKC Concept is 179.3 inches long (4.554 mm), 76.1 inches wide (1.933 mm) without the mirrors and it’s 63.2 inches tall (1.605 mm), riding on a 106.9 inches long wheelbase (2.715 mm). By comparison, the Ford Escape is 1.2 inches shorter, almost 4 inches narrower and 3.4 inches lower than the MKC. The Escape’s wheelbase is also 1 inch shorter.
