The Acura MDX Concept has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
According to the car manufacturer, the Acura MDX Concept is offering a preview into a future production model which should go on sale later on this year. Acura says that the MDX Concept is getting an evolutionary design with its large shield grille, with the LED headlights, with the roof rails, the tailgate mounted spoiler, the aluminum accents and other features which will probably be adopted onto the final production version of the model.
The Acura MDX Concept is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, but unfortunately the automaker didn’t provide any specification details. Rumors are saying that the unit is probably producing a total output of 310 HP (231 kW) and 368 Nm of torque (272 lb-ft). Acura was cheap on providing more details on the MDX Concept and our guess is that this will probably be very similar to the final production version of the model, except for some styling tweaks. The 2014 Acura MDX is expected to hit the market later on this year.
