The famous German actress and fashion model Diane Kruger has arrived at the lights turn-on on the Champs-Elysees in a Renault Zoe.
Hybrid cars and electric vehicles are being mostly appreciated by celebrities who think that they’re saving the planet because those models run on leafs and they emit baby Panda tears but what they forget is how we actually produce the electricity that powers the electric motors and they don’t know that if a hybrid car is driven normally it burns the same amount of fuel as a normal car. Things don’t look different for Diane Kruger either, who was recently spotted getting off a Renault Zoe at the turn-on of the Parisian lights for the Champs-Elysees. The lights will stay like this until the 9th of January, 2013.
AS a quick reminder, the Renault Zoe is being powered by a synchronous electric motor which is producing a total output of 88 HP (65 kW) and it has a peak torque of 220 Nm (162 lb-ft). The model can reach a top speed of 84 km/h and prices for it have been set at 14,444 GBP. The Renault Zoe is coming with features such as the R-Link multimedia tablet, automatic climate control, battery charger and more. Renault says that the R-Link multimedia tablet will have a 7-inch touchscreen display with speech recognition and it will control several key functions including the audio system, the electric vehicle driving guidance and the Carminat TomTom Live navigation system. The model will enter mass production soon and it will be launched in 2013.
