With Audi having a chronic love for evolutionary designs, it’s only natural the digital artists of the world will jump at the opportunity of penning a future installment, as they don’t have to stress their imagination too hard.
Last week Audi showcased the all new generation of the A5 and S5 coupe models. And since the predecessor had a Convertible and Sportback in its roster as well, here’s a render of the possible looks – which should be pretty close to reality since Audi is playing it safe. The latter models are scheduled to debut this year – most likely – so we shouldn’t wait around too long to see if the digital artist was right or wrong. According to reports, the A5 and S5 Cabriolet should come out pretty fast, followed by the Sportback models later on before the year’s end. That model might bode well for the United States market, with its quirky 5-door coupe design – especially when an eventual RS5 Sportback comes out to play.
In Audi’s defense, the A5 looks like a great evolution of the series and hopefully it won’t be similar to the next A7 in any way – we’re talking here about the Sportback model, of course. The other cool thing about these renderings is they’re not based on the S5 or even the top roster with the S-Line package.
