While Fiat is usually that cute Italian automaker that produces very small cars, it also premiered recently the normal-sized Fiat Toro pickup. And with Italian styling, the model has inspired the creativity of digital artists.
For example, superimposed on the Fiat Toro body a batch of renders come to depict pickup models that will probably never exist. For example, the aggressive styling of the model that is what we may consider a Jeep Cherokee doppelganger, has inspired the creation of a Toyota RAV4-derived pickup. Or a Peugeot 3008 pickup – though the latter might be closer to reality than we imagine, with the PSA Peugeot Citroen group looking to add its own pickup truck in the near future.
The Toyota Rav4 derived as a pickup truck really makes no sense – the Japanese already have a very capable pickup truck in the form of the Tacoma. But we should never say never, because lifestyle trucks are becoming the next thing – Hyundai wants one and Jeep is already preparing to reveal its take on the segment. Peugeot on the other hand needs a one-ton truck – Renault has premiered the Alaskan not long ago and Mercedes is adding the luxury flair to the Nissan Navara in no time. Anyways, the digital artist envisioned them on the backbones of the Fiat Toro and the work is as always, flawless. We don’t really like the Peugeot version though – but the Toyota is quirky enough to inspire the hybrid feeling.
