The Aston Martin DB11 is certainly a looker, combining the classic cues of the British automaker with decidedly modern elements to herald a new chapter in the company’s history.
This is because the DB11 is the one crucial model tasked to kick off the brand’s revival and from its skeleton all upcoming models will take more or less DNA. But it appears even the DB11’s exquisite styling can be upgraded – though its transformation is certainly a serious one and unfortunately most likely destined to forever remain in digital form. Regular digital artist X-Tomi Design has taken the exquisite coupe and turned it into a shooting brake – a classic one that eschews the current love for rear doors. We’re pretty much certain that our good folks over in Gaydon have other things on their minds, so the likelihood of seeing this in real life is pretty small.
But if they did think about and go through with such a transformation, this would become a worthy rival for the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso – we even heard rumors about McLaren looking to build a four-seater model as well, so this could become a great trifecta. For now, Aston Martin is focusing on restarting its lineup, implementing a new biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine coming from AMG and that stupendous partnership with Red Bull to conceive the AM-RB 001.
