Not long ago, a Spanish tipster let the Internet know what the front bumper of the refreshed Seat Leon would look like when it comes out later on, and officially.
Now the digital specialists decided to have a go at the model and interpret the entirety of the car based off the leaked element. That’s not much to go with, but French website Virtual Car still decided to have a go and presented itself with the image you see. To make things a little more enticing, they worked their imagination on the Seat Leon SC FR – which is the sporty take on the three door hatchback model. So, the FR is the design enhancement pack (akin to the R-Line from Volkswagen) and the SC comes from Sport Coupe – a fancy way of titling their three door version.
The Seat Leon rides on the highly modular MQB platform and as such is light and nimble. We’re hoping the parent group Volkswagen will also release inside the updated Leon coming our way a new engine options – such as the new 1.5 TSI that VW just presented. It comes with up to 150 horsepower and uses a variable geometry turbocharger. We’re also hoping they’ll do something about the suspension, because it’s just plain silly to have versions with independent rear suspension only according to engine power and sometimes even markets.
