Having an ultra-posh SUV might be enough for some – or just be the appetizer for others, no matter the appearance of such luxo-barges as the Bentley Bentayga.
Because having 600 horsepower under the hood might make you crave for even more, Bentayga buyers can now address the issue of the 6.0-liter V12 under the hood being too “shabby” with a visit to ask German tuning shop DMC to make the most powerful production SUV in the world even more… powerful. So, meet the DMC Bentley Bentayga “Gigante,” – which as the name implies bets big on power and design updates. First off, the 6.0-liter V12 has been massaged for 700 horsepower (521 kilowatts) and 778 pound-feet (1,055 Newton-meters) of torque thanks to a new high-performance exhaust system and a tweaked engine management system. As a result, the maximum speed has surged to 193 miles per hour (310 kilometers per hour) compared to the standard 187 mph (300 km/h).
The exterior rework is fortunately on the subtle end of the equation, with a new carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber side skirts, and a carbon fiber rear wing. The 24-inch forged aluminum wheels, meanwhile, do show this is no ordinary Bentayga. The interior packs amenities such as a carbon fiber steering wheel and accents of Italian leather, hand-stitched floor mats and other small flourishes.
