Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat arrives in Germany image

The most powerful production muscle car ever, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, has recently arrived in Germany, where it will be offered for sale.

If you happen to fancy the American muscle cars than the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is probably on top of your list, considering the fact that this is the most powerful production one ever and if you are like this we have some good news for you because the vehicle in question is now available for order in Germany, as it has been introduced by GeigerCars. The model will not be as cheap as the one offered over-seas but it will still eat up its competition, starting from 86,000 euros.

“The 707 hp supercharged Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, the most powerful standard production muscle car of all time, is now available from US car specialists of Munich. The Hellcat is out of the bag, and it’s time to roll!”, says GeigerCars in the official press release.

As a small reminder, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been officially introduced back in 2014 and it is currently available for order in the United States. The model doesn’t have a direct competitor at this time as it is using a 6.2 liter V8 engine, capable of producing a total output of 707 HP (527 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

In the US, Fiat/Chrysler has had to suspend new customer orders for the Hellcats because they simply cannot keep up with demand. The dirty little secret behind this suspension is that Fiat/Chrysler cannot LEGALLY produce more Hellcats for the US market due to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards imposed upon the automakers by the government. Basically, Fiat/Chrysler will have to sell a lot more 4 cylinder and hybrid econocars – cars that most Americans do not desire to buy – before they can ramp up production of more Hellcats. Thanks, Obama.
