Dodge has recently announced the production start of the new Challenger SRT Hellcat this fall.

One of the hottest muscle cars money can buy these days, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, will begin its limited production this fall. The announcement has been made by the company recently and the model will be assembled at the Brampton Assembly plant in the third quarter of this year.

“The new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful muscle car ever. With 707 horsepower and 650 ft.-lb. of torque, we have unleashed a true GT car with an all-new driver-focused interior, the TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission and the first supercharged HEMI® engine Chrysler has ever produced. The Challenger Hellcat has been released!”, said Tim Kuniskis, the Dodge and SRT brands president and CEO.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is coming with 11 exterior finishes and leather wrapped surfaces, an 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen infotainment system, a 7-inch DID screen for the instrument cluster which is flanked by the analog tachometer and speedometer, a 2.75-inch exhaust system with electronically controlled valves and several drive modes.

The impressive muscle car will be taking its power from a 6.2 liter V8 engine. The unit is good for 707 HP (527 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration will take less than 4 seconds and top speed will stand at approximately 320 km/h (199 mph).
