Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with satin black hood delayed image

The deliveries of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with a satin black hood have been recently delayed with little to no explanation from the dealerships.

If you are the proud owner of a brand new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and you happened to choose your future ride with a satin black hood, you will be in for a long wait because the car manufacturer has decided to delay these versions. Rumor has it that there is a hood shortage and if customers who have chosen such a version would like to keep their initial preferences, which they should, they will be taking deliveries of their rides in February, 2015.

The carmaker hasn’t provided an official explanation for the subject so once we hear more about it, we will keep you posted. The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful production muscle car ever. It is packing a 6.2 liter V8 engine which can produce a whopping 707 HP (527 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. The model can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in a supercar time of less than 4 seconds and it can go all the way up to 320 km/h (199 mph). The suggested retail price of the model starts from 59,995 USD.
