The North American based automaker Chrysler is planning to introduce a new model which will continue the SRT Hellcat “saga”.
After officially pulling the wraps off the new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, just a few months ago, the North American based car manufacturer is now planning to introduce a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. This will be based on the newest version of the four-door vehicle and it will be offering the practicality of its four-door body style combined with an impressive engine which will make it one of the hottest models on the market.
The brand new Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will be taking its power from the same 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 707 HP (527 kW) and it has a peak torque of 880 Nm (650 lb-ft). In the Challenger, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes less than 4 seconds and top speed stands at approximately 320 km/h (199 mph). We’re not sure how much the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will cost, how many units will be produced or when it will be unveiled but the model has a pretty good chance of hitting the market later on this year.
