The first rendering with the recently unveiled Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is showing the model in question in a new body style, that of a Shooting Brake.
Mercedes-Benz has kind of set the standards when coming to Shooting Brakes, with its CLS, and since then, the imagination of rendering artists has went bananas as they continue to present different vehicles from across the globe in the “sports tourer” version. The newest example is coming from our colleagues from GT Spirit, who have posted such an image with the rather appealing version of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Shooting Brake.
The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has been described as the “world’s most powerful sedan”. The model in question has been unveiled a week ago and it is packing the same 6.2 liter V8 engine also used on the impressive Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat muscle car. The unit is good for 707 HP (527 kW) and it has an even more impressive peak torque of 880 Nm (650 lb-ft), which is allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) and then back to 0 in less than 13 seconds, as the company says. Top speed stands at 328 km/h (204 mph).
