The North American based automaker Dodge is planning to introduce a hot version of the Charger, the SRT Hellcat, over the next following weeks.
The development of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has taken everyone by surprise as the model in question has come into focus for the first time just last week. Despite this, it seems that the production version of the four-door vehicle is more advanced than believed and in fact it is almost ready, considering the fact that it will be unveiled on the 16th of August. The announcement hasn’t been made official and it is part of a report published by Jalopnik.
According to our source, the new Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will be making its debut at the Woorward Dream Cruise. The performance car will be coming, most likely, with the same 6.2 liter V8 supercharged engine from the Challenger SRT Hellcat. The unit is producing a total output of 707 HP (527 kW) and it has an even more impressive torque figure of 880 Nm (650 lb-ft). The model will also come with an aggressive exterior design and with several other tweaks, which will help it stand out from a crowd.
