The North American based automaker Dodge has recently released some images where the interior of its Alfa Romeo based Dart model is being presented.
As you can see from the mini photo gallery below, the interior of the 2013 Dodge Dart has been fitted with a seven inch TFT display, the navigation system has been placed between the analog dials and the Chrysler Group’s UConnect entertainment system with an 8.4 inch touch screen has also been fitted to the vehicle. As we previously reported, the 2013 Dodge Dart will be officially presented during the Detroit Motor Show in January 2012.
The new Dodge Dart is based on the Alfa Romeo and the “Dart” badge is actually a revival of the 1960s model. Dodge says that the 2013 Dart is riding on a platform adapted from Fiat’s European Alfa Romeo Giulietta and the model is promising European style driving dynamics and a four-independent suspension system which is uncommon in the compact segment. The upcoming Dodge Dart will be coming with a choice of three engines, a 1.4 liter 16 valve MultiAir Turbo, a 2.4 liter 16 valve MultiAir and a 2.0 liter 16 valve unit, and thanks to the new ZF nine-speed automatic transmission the model is expected to do 40 mpg.
