The North American based automaker Dodge has recently teased a special edition of the Dart, named the Mopar, for the 2013 Chicago Auto Show.
After pulling the wraps off the Dodge Dart GT during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, a couple of weeks ago, the car manufacturer is planning to develop a special edition of the model, which will make its public debut during the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The model in question will be named the Dodge Dart Mopar special edition and it will offer some levels of personalization.
“This vehicle is the perfect canvas for personalization and customization. We couldn’t wait to get our hands on it and give it the Mopar treatment”, said the Mopar CEO, Pietro Gorlier.
Additional details on the Dodge Dart Mopar special edition are limited for the moment but as a quick reminder, the Dart GT is powered by a 2.4 liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 184 horsepower (137 kW) and it has a peak torque of 236 Nm (174 lb-ft). The unit can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or to an optional six-speed PowerTech automatic.
