Dodge is planning to introduce a high-performance version of the Dart, which might be named the SRT-4 and it could get a lot of interesting items on it, along with a larger engine.
The North American based automaker Dodge didn’t announce any official details on a high-performance version of the Dart but according to the guys at allpar.com, such a model is very much a possibility so don’t act too surprised if the company will unveil it in the nearby future. If it will indeed make its way onto the market, than the Dodge Dart will get a more aggressive body kit, larger alloy wheels and some small tweaks in the cabin.
As far as the engine goes, our source is suggesting that the 3.0 liter V6 will become available for the model. The unit in question could produce approximately 230 HP (171 kW). A larger 3.2 liter V6 might also be introduced, with 271 HP (202 kW). No matter which one of these engines will be introduced, both of them being more powerful than the current 2.4 liter TigerShark, with its four-cylinder and 184 HP (137 kW). Additional details on the model are limited for the moment.
