As far as we know, General Motors has no plans to build a convertible version of the CTS Coupe. But, Droptop Customs, a company from High Springs, Florida, specialized in developing open-top versions of hard-top production cars, is working on an CTS Convertible!
The company, owned by Jeff Moran, has done over 5,000 conversions and focuses its attention mostly on domestic automakers.
Its official debut will be made in November at the SEMA Show. According to Droptop Customs, the new Cadillac CTS Coupe-Convertible comes as a replacement for their Eldorado model and the company has big expectations for it. Their hopes are to sell around 3000 units a year.
The Cadillac CTS Coupe Convertible features a fabric soft-top which retracts in a space above the luggage compartment.
